Welcome
Hello. My name is Harry Hellas, some of you might remember me from way back (as Tommy did) as Bubba Hellas. Like many of you, I had the privilege of knowing Tommy Lee and regarded him as family, knew him as a brother. And like all of you, my heart is also broken by his sudden departure.
Tommy and I started this Blog adventure just after his 40th birthday, then it quickly turned into one of the many, many things we planned to do. This page was intended to be a meeting place for the old friends, new friends and the friends not yet met, of the real Tommy Lee.
We hoped to use this site to celebrate and share Tommy’s many images that he took while on surfing adventures. As you well know, if you knew Tommy, there was not a more cheerful giver than Tommy. He wanted his images and thoughts here on this site for one reason, to share them with you - and for you to share them with each other.
There is no question, but that this page and Tommy’s original intention be carried on. We could not have know what was to be when we started this, but it is what is now. So, by all means, let’s carry on. . .
